Information For Arriving At Your Tour Departure Point
Our tour begins at the Hotel Castello di Gargonza, just outside Arezzo. Arezzo can be reached by train from Rome or Florence, as well as by car. Trains to Arezzo depart almost hourly from each station and the journey is about 2 hours from Rome and 1.5 hours from Florence. From the train station in Arezzo, take a taxi to the hotel, a journey of about 20 minutes which should cost approx. 70 Euros.
If you are arriving by car, Arezzo is well connected by highway to Rome and Florence. Most car rental agencies are represented there.
Official check-in time at the hotel is 2:00 PM, though our rooms are usually available earlier. One of your guides will contact you during the day to assure that all is well. At 6:30 PM, your tour group will meet on the terrace for a welcome refreshment. Here, you will be introduced to your guides and hear more about your trip.
